Issue 1 - "History Lesson"
The Enterprise arrives at Tigan for discussions with an isolationist society. Will Riker, Tasha Yar, and Data beam down to meet Chancellor Lomac and find a population hardwired for information, but no Lomac. While the away team tries to learn why there's no record of anyone contacting the Federation, the Enterprise is hit by a massive gravimetric pulse fired from the planet's surface. Pushed across the galaxy at near light speed, Picard and his crew must find a way to stop the ship and return to retrieve the away team. Stardate 41590.8.
Celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation with this all-new relaunch of the Trek franchise in comics. In the first issue of this special miniseries, planet Tigan-7 requests entry into the Federation, but the Enterprise is attacked as a hostile invader when it makes contact, and the planet's leader has no record of any communication with any outside world. Issue 2 - "Captain's Pleasure"
Following Ambassador Spock's decison to stay on Romulus, Picard takes a week off in the ruins of an ancient city on Rajatha Prime with old friend, Dr. Marjorie Devarona. The dig team finds the wreckage of a two-hundred year-old Starfleet shuttlepod and five valuable harmonic diamonds with skeletal remains of the pod's occupants. The diamonds divide the archeological team and the killing begins. Picard must solve the puzzle of the diamonds and the dig before he becomes the next victim. Meanwhile, back on the Enterprise, Dr. Crusher and Counsellor Troi experience a little Saturday night fever. Stardate 45315.1.
Continuing the 20th Anniversary celebration of Star Trek: The Next Generation with this all-new relaunch. Picard visits the archaeological dig on Kandom 9, where scientists have unearthed an ancient text - and a gemstone worth more than human life. When contact with the Enterprise is cut off, greed turns to mistrust, and Picard must discover the killer in the group, before he becomes the next victim. |

Issue 4 - "Light of Day"
In "Light of Day," part four of IDW's all-new Star Trek: The Next Generation relaunch, a shuttle craft accident strands Worf, Geordi, and Ro on an unexplored moon. The trio survive the crash, but when the sun rises they are fighting for their lives against a colony of nocturnal aliens who become deadly killers with each new dawn.
