As Admiral James T. Kirk struggles with a midlife crisis, the Federation starship Reliant is hijacked by 20th century genetic superman Khan Noonien Singh while in orbit of Ceti Alpha V. In command of the ship, Khan plots a course to intercept the Enterprise, exact revenge on Kirk, and seize control of Project Genesis; a terraforming experiment that could be perverted into a dreadful weapon of mass destruction.

Admiral Kirk's defeat of Khan and the creation of the Genesis planet are empty victories. Spock is dead and McCoy is, seemingly inexplicably, being driven insane. Resolved to return to Earth to face the consequences of their actions, the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise learn of a mysterious alien probe sending out destructive signals at Earth causing critical damage to the planet. Upon investigation, Mr. Spock learns that the probe's signals can only be answered by humpback whales; a species extinct in the 23rd century. With no choice, the crew travels back in time to 1986 San Francisco; a place where none of them have ever gone before.

When Federation, Klingon and Romulan representatives on Nimbus III; "The Planet of Galactic Peace" are taken hostage by a radical group, the new U.S.S. Enterprise is sent in to rescue them. Little do they know that the hostages are mere bait for the leader's true intention, that of acquiring the Enterprise itself. After hijacking the starship, he sets it on a course for the Great Barrier at the center of the galaxy where he hopes to find Sha Ka Ree; his God.      
Star Trek VI: The Undsicovered Country   03 December 1991 14 February 1992
The Klingon energy production facility, Praxis, explodes, leaving the Klingon Empire with fifty years of life remaining. With no other options, the Klingon chancellor, Gorkon, opens up dialogue with the Federation, dealing with Mr. Spock. Volunteering for Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock arranges for the U.S.S. Enterprise to escort the chancellor's flagship to Earth. However, en route, the flagship is attacked and the chancellor is murdered by two Starfleet crewmembers leaving Captain Kirk and Dr. McCoy as the main suspects.      
Star Trek VII: Generations   17 November 1994 ???
Seventy eight years following the apparent death of Captain James T. Kirk, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise-D must stop Dr. Tolian Soran, an El Aurian scientist, from destroying an entire world in his pursuit of the eternal bliss of The Nexus Ribbon.

Tormented by his nightmares, Jean-Luc Picard becomes aware of The Borg's incursion into Federation space. Disobeying Starfleet orders, the crew of the new U.S.S. Enterprise race to Earth to prevent them from destroying the past and assimilating the future.

Enterprise rebel against their own people in order to save the unsafe.
