SkyBox offered these cards direct to the public. The Cinema Collection Movie set consisted of 6 boxed sets of widevision cards, one for each of the first 6 movies. Original "Panavision" footage was used to create the images. The set retailed for $120. Over time the price has dropped significantly and now a complete set can be bought for as little as $25, but often lacking some or all of the bonus items. Those that ordered all six boxed Sets from SkyBox also received a six-card Behind The Scenes set dealing with the making of the Star Trek Generations movie, and an Uncut Sheet of six Movie Poster Cards showing the same images found on the six box fronts. A boxed set of six binders were available to buyers of the card sets. These six binders were housed in a thick walled slip-case and cost $125.00. The high price deterred most collectors and subsequently these sets are hard to find and command prices well in excess of the original retail price. One universal binder would have been a far better solution and could comfortably have housed all the sets.
