Star Trek: The Next Generation Album Stickers

There are 240 stickers in the set which featured five cast members and also focuses on seven episodes from season one of the TV series. Some of the stickers form larger pictures composed of two or four parts. Each sticker measures 2″x 2½″.

Italy was the first country to get these Panini stickers in 1987. Other countries followed. Boxes contained 100 packs with each pack containing five stickers.

The set was released in the US briefly, but pulled due to licensing issues.

A Paramount catalog from 1987 offered an uncut sheet of the Panini stickers for sale.
In 1992, Panini sent out to retailers a poly-bagged binder, order form, sticker packet, some scratch-off tickets and uncut sheet of 6 stickers.These stickers have a 1992 copyright and use red text on the backs. The sheet that accompanied the poly-bag was in Hebrew. The Hebrew version also came with scratch-off tickets (1 7/8 by 3 1/8) for a contest with prizes listed on an insert sheet. This version also came in packets and a box, similar to the 1987 version. There is also a Brazillian version of the set in Portugese, but little is known about it at this time.

In 1992 the set was finally released with proper licensing in the USA by Baio and Company. An album and complete set of 240 stickers (24 uncut sheets of 10 stickers). The text on the backs is grey.

The backs of the 1987 releases and the US release from 1992 were printed in black ink with the 1992 edition being printed in red ink.
All the stickers had the same text on the back in six languages as follows:
English: Collect these stickers in the album available from your local shop.
German: Fragt bei Eurem Zeitschriftenhändier nach dem Album für diese Serie.
French: Demandez à votre détaillant l'Album pour la collection de ces images.
Italian: Chiedete al vostro rivenditore l'album per la raccolta di queste figurine.
